White Mulberry
Form and Size: A small tree to 6m high
Distribution: Rainforests of Qld and NSW
Leaves: Broadly lance-shaped, whitish beneath, margins toothed, to 12cm long x 5cm wide
Flowers: Inconspicuous. Male and female flowers on separate plants
Fruit: White, fleshy, mulberry-like, very sweet
Cultivation/Notes: Propagate from cuttings
The fruit are edible and eagerly sought after by many birds
It is a foodplant of the White Nymph butterfly
