Form and Size: A slender, twining vine which is very variable

Distribution: Widespread through eastern and southern areas of Australia, both coastal and inland

Leaves: Pinnate; 7-11 leaflets which may vary greatly in size to 7cm long

Flowers: Usually white with pink, reddish or brown spots and flecks inside, tubular, 2-3cm long; borne in large, loose clusters

FloweringPeriod: July to October

Fruit: Pods, rough, about 5cm long; seeds numerous, papery

Cultivation/Notes: Propagate from seed or cuttings
A hardy climber often found in inland areas vigorously climbing over trees and shrubs.
