Form and Size: A dwarf to medium shrub, 0.3-4m high, with slender, angular branches which may be smooth or silvery-hairy – new growth is silky-hairy and may be pendant
Distribution: North-eastern Qld.; in sandy or gravelly soils, often on river flats
Leaves: Reduced to scales
Bark: Rough, corky, yellowish-brown
Flowers: Pea-shaped, mauve-purple, about 0.5cm across
Flowering Period: May to September
Fruit: Pods, oblong, inflated, about 0.5cm long
Cultivation/Notes: Propagate from treated seed or cuttings
