Form and Size: Medium shrub with upright form; branches covered in hairs

Distribution: Qld and NSW; on forested ranges and in coastal areas

Leaves: Elongated heart-shape, dense hairs on both surfaces, 15-25cm long

Flowers: White, small; in small, dense clusters forming a large panicle

Flowering Period: October to January

Fruit: Purple, 0.7cm long, with two flattened wings.

Cultivation/Notes: Propagate from seed or cuttings. An attractive plant with ornamental foliage. Prefers well-drained soils and dappled shade.
